Bath Summer School

The Study Abroad Programme includes three different opportunities.

Summer School Programme

ECES places students from the age of seven upwards in a variety of summer school settings. All courses are tailored to the needs of the student.

They include academic tuition in English, cultural training, and visits to famous tourist destinations. The all-inclusive accommodation includes meals and full pastoral support.

Short-Term Exchange Programmes

This programme has the aim of building up awareness and making cross-cultural teaching, learning, and integration a reality for the Chinese, British, and International students involved in our co-operative projects.

Typically, Chinese students aged 14/16 will study a whole summer term in an independent school in the UK. They will live, study, and mix with local British and international students helping them to learn, to understand, and to make friends with students from other cultures.

Exploring China

British students will also have the opportunity to spend part of a term or school holidays in China. While there, they can make friends, experience life as a student in a Chinese school, try real Chinese food, and live and experience the culture and way of life. They will also be able to join tours by schools and host families to explore the “real China".
